Privacy Policy

PropFirmCorner("we", "us", or "our") operates the website located at https://propfirmcorner.com. We publish editorial research and comparisons for futures prop trading firms. We are not a prop firm, broker, bank, or financial institution, and we do not hold customer funds or accounts.

We aim to collect as little as possible. In practice this means:

• Anonymous usage analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics tools (PostHog and Ahrefs Web Analytics) to count page views, measure referrers, and understand which pages are useful. These tools may set cookies or use local storage to aggregate traffic. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this data.
• Affiliate click attribution. When you click a partner link on our site, we append UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content) so our partners can attribute the click back to PropFirmCorner. The partner may set their own cookies at that point, governed by their privacy policy.
• Email you send us. If you email hello@propfirmcorner.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We only use it to reply.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request metadata, including IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. These logs are used for security and debugging and are automatically rotated.

We do not collect payment information. We do not operate a user login system. We do not sell data.

Our calculators (true cost, PIP discount, drawdown simulator, payout readiness, and the rest) run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.

We use a small number of first-party and third-party cookies strictly to run analytics and attribute affiliate clicks. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work without them. Using private or incognito browsing also prevents most persistent storage.

We rely on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data:

• Vercel (hosting and CDN).
• PostHog (product analytics).
• Ahrefs Web Analytics (traffic analytics).
• Google Fonts (web fonts served by Next.js).
• Partner prop firms (destination of affiliate clicks). When you click through to a firm, their privacy policy applies from that point forward.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we deliberately avoid collecting identifying information, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your cookies. For anything else, email us at hello@propfirmcorner.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Prop trading is an adult activity and the site is aimed at adult traders.

Analytics data is retained for the period set by each analytics provider (typically 12 months or less at an aggregated level). Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the conversation.

We use industry-standard HTTPS and rely on our hosting provider’s security posture. No internet service is 100% secure, but because we collect so little, the attack surface is small by design.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or in our affiliate disclosure for at least 14 days.
